White Paint, Warm Light
This one's a good example of what a fresh coat of white paint and the right staging can do to an original, unremodeled home before it hits the market. Cherry hardwood floors, a stone fireplace, and a black-and-red-tile kitchen were all original to the house, but a neutral palette and modern furniture placed room to room let the actual bones of the place read clearly in photos. The backyard patio caught a good sunset over the Saddleback foothills, and the front elevation lit up nicely at dusk with that pink sky behind the tile roof -- exactly the kind of before-the-open-house shoot that rewards showing up right at twilight.
